It’s hard to get good before and after pictures (I am a decorator, not a photographer) but I do have some.

   BEFORE   AFTER

I love this transformation and the client's style…contemporary infused with classic modern pieces. The lamp and the ottomans are icons of early twentieth century design.

   BEFORE   AFTER

Here’s a before and after where we started from scratch. Our inspiration was a print the couple had placed on the mantle. The end result was young and fresh.

   BEFORE   AFTER

This living room comes together when wallpaper, rug and accessories are added.

   BEFORE   AFTER

The window treatment here, with both valance and cornice, carries your eye up, taking advantage of the high ceiling to add much needed visual space to the room.

   BEFORE   AFTER

This client's living room was very pretty but not the gathering spot she'd hoped for,    We warmed up the colors and customized deep cushioned, down filled upholstery for an environment that invites luxurious lingering.

   BEFORE   AFTER

Taking cues from this homes 1917 architecture, we created an eclectic setting with turn of the century attitude.

OUTDOOR SPACES/  Before and After

   BEFORE   AFTER

I've worked on a number of exterior projects (and I have completed training as a Master Gardener).
This home was in need of a covered entry. I designed an imposing portico with columns, capitals and custom iron work.
Now, the house comes out to greet you.

   BEFORE   AFTER

The backyard was transformed from suburban plot to lush and intimate, with minimal hardscape around the pool and lots of plant material anchoring the space.  We extended the high deck by adding a lower tier to bring it closer to the pool, then painted the structure to blend in with its' surroundings.

   BEFORE   AFTER

This home was one of the least expensive in it's neighborhood.  To improve the curb appeal, I replaced the walkway with a wider, gracefully curving bluestone path and removed plant material to create room for an entry court.

   BEFORE   AFTER

While beautiful in bloom, the color only lasted a few weeks.  Instead, we created year round outdoor living space and a lovely entry.  The walls are stacked granite with thick bluestone cap and provide additional seating.

STAGING FOR RE-SALE

   BEFORE   AFTER

Sometimes I help people prepare their homes for resale. This can involve serious editing of belongings,

…or using consignment shop finds to give a room the illusion of more useful space.

   BEFORE   AFTER

We turned down the volume in this small room with softer fabrics and more diminutive accessories.

   BEFORE   AFTER

An aging bathroom is freshened up with just a coat of paint, shower curtain, and lighter furniture.
